With the whole promotions thing handled on a few very populated forums, you run into a few issues and benefits. I've been doing this for a bit now and I believe that there has got to be a better way to promote this.

Benefits to getting word out on a larger forum:

1) Larger audience
2) Larger chance for there to be a buyer
3) Many ways to build your reputation

Losses to posting on a larger forum:

1) You're more likely to be forgotten
2) Pages could cycle so quickly no one sees what you've posted
3) The one you build reputation with could be someone who has no standing themselves.

There are far more to either side, but I am noticing that a few more people are looking from those specific forums. I'll have to expand what I know to meet the knowledge of these varied audiences.
