Pros and Cons

Upon having to write my first press release today to be placed on the web for USA and international distribution, I found that there was some difficulty in writing it.

Press releases are designed to be written as short blurbs but are to mainly resemble a news article. They somewhat follow the SEO rules in that they should contain keywords but should not appear as if they have been optimized based on the guidelines for writing PR releases.

Found it kind of fascinating to have to combine the two ways of thinking to create something people will want to read.
